Ted: The Movie

 
I'm dedicating this post to the recent movie Ted.

Here's a short synopsis from imdb:

When he was eight years old, John Bennett, friendless and thus lonely, wished that his only friend, Ted his teddy bear who had a voice recorded message "I love you", would love him forever. John got his wish as Ted miraculously came to life, which garnered Ted his proverbial fifteen minutes of fame. Twenty-seven years later, John and Ted have remained best friends. Although physically the same, Ted now has grown-up urges, as vulgar, perverted and immature as they be.

I haven't seen it yet but I plan to very soon. I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it. The reviews are good, it gets a 7.2/10 rating on imdb and of course it never hurts to have Mila Kunis around for some eye candy. Once I've seen it I'll let you guys know what I think

 I take umbrance with one reviewer though: 

"The acceptance and interaction of everyone with a living teddy-bear adds to the simple joy of this film, and you find yourself happy to watch and not question why nobody is fazed by this."

Evidently some people are still stupid enough to presume that Teddy Bears are not real. Talk about ignorant!

*Note: There appears to be a mistake in the credits on imdb as it states that Seth MacFarlane does the voice of Ted. Obviously a typo because why would Ted need somebody else to do his voice for him?

There are plenty of humans out there with blogs, but I couldn’t find any written by Teddy Bears, so I thought I should rectify that situation and create what I believe to be the world’s first Bear Blog! I hope it inspires other Bears like me to start up there own blogs and create a voice for all Teddy Bears worldwide. For too long we have been regarded as nothing more than cute and cuddly companions to humans and that needs to change. We are Bears of distinction and we have interests and feelings and opinions we would like to express also.

As the title suggests, I will be using this blog to post on all sorts of miscellaneous topics that interest me and which I hope might interest others also. Hopefully there’s something for everyone. As they say, one Teddy’s trash is another Teddy’s treasure!
